Meet Our Calgary Chiropractors, Naturopaths & Massage Therapists

At Parallel Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, we use our treatments and modalities to assist you along your journey toward wellness. As our patient, we will work closely with you to find the best possible course of treatment. For best results, we will sometimes pair complementary modalities to help you achieve a balanced, healthy life.

Like all medical professionals, our team takes part in a rigorous educational process prior to becoming a registered chiropractic professional within the province. This ensures that patients can put their trust in our Doctors of Chiropractic whenever they visit our Calgary chiropractic and wellness centre.

Dr. Rajiv Laroiya, Chiropractor

Dr. Rajiv Laroiya
As the entry requirements of the chiropractic college are highly demanding, Dr. Laroiya spent a minimum of three years engaged in study (or course equivalent) at the University of Calgary. Following his time at university, he enrolled in a four-year course load at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (equivalent to five years at most universities). Here, he studied relevant sciences, diagnostics, treatment modalities and completed an internship program.

Following his graduation from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Dr. Laroiya mastered the provincial clinical competency exams and those administered by the Canadian Chiropractic Examination Board. Even after all this training, Alberta’s licensed chiropractors are still required to participate in a minimum of 75 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

As a patient of Dr. Laroiya, you can count on his expertise and commitment to professionalism. He is truly dedicated to helping you improve your health through the use of preventative chiropractic techniques and natural therapies. He upholds your right to be treated with respect and dignity and to have access to information that allows you to make responsible choices for your health.

Dr. Laroiya has extensive postgraduate training in nutrition, pediatrics and numerous chiropractic techniques, including full body certification in Active Release Techniques®. Dr. Laroiya has received his post-graduate certification in chiropractic pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Nuchnapha "Waew" Harriott, Registered Massage Therapist

Nuchnapha "Waew" Harriott
Nuchnapha Harriott, affectionately known as "Waew" (pronounced as "wow"), was born and raised in Nonbuelamphu, Thailand. Thanks to her varied experience and training, Waew has a keen sense of how to relieve everyday aches, pains and tightness, as well as more acute muscle and alignment issues due to injury or long-term pain. She also places a high priority on treatment "beyond the treatment room" with home care exercises and instructions for her clients in order to get the best results.

Waew prides herself on providing individualized therapy — meaning she understands each body is unique and each client needs their own style of treatment on their journey to be pain-free. A typical treatment plan will offer a balance of treating the body and mind with relaxation, deep tissue techniques and other traditional methods. She has the ability to combine all of her training, both modern and traditional, to offer the best combination for clients to improve range of motion, release muscle tightness and improve overall well-being.

Tina Hartt, C.O.A.

Tina Hartt
Tina Hartt joined Parallel Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in the fall of 2014, shortly after moving to Calgary from Montreal. She is happy to be a part of a wellness team whose collective goal aligns with her own beliefs. Our bodies are unique and incredible gifts that need to be nurtured and cared for if we want to enjoy a long, happy and healthy life. When that delicate balance is upset and our health is compromised, we sometimes need help identifying and supporting our bodies in order to get better. At Parallel Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, the whole team will work together to help you find and maintain your health the most natural way possible!

Tina has enjoyed a varied career from singing and acting at the Grafton St. Dinner Theatre in Halifax, to running a chiropractic locum service in Toronto and being a discrepancy analyst in Montreal. Always somehow active in the musical community, she and her family still enjoy exploring all that Calgary has to offer, especially the surrounding mountains.

Tina looks forward to helping you continue your journey to better health!
